-Select a song from the modern era (2000-present) that an historian might use in the future to analyze U.S. history. Your song should explore serious issues (i.e. race, class, gender, sexuality, social divisions, politics, foreign policy, etc.).
-Write a 2-page analysis/reflection of the song, clearly explaining why you find it important. As a reflection paper, supporting sources are not necessary.
