    1. Each circle you see in the images represent crops.
    2. These circles were produced through the technique known as center-pivot irrigation.
    3. In center-pivot irrigation, a long sprinkler sprays out water as the sprinkler rotates around in a circle, creating crop circles.
    4. In the top image, notice the sprinkler system. In the image on the bottom, notice the crop circles that result. These crop circles are VERY noticeable from an airplane or from a satellite (a satellite being how the images you are using were collected).
