Annie Leonard (Check it out she’s currently the executive director of Greenpeace (Links to an external site.)) explains the steps of the linear system from extraction to disposal. Write/draw them out and try to make note of the impacts on people and the environment along the way. Ultimately, she says we should aim for a closed system, a circular system. Explain internalized and externalized costs as well and human exploitation of resources.
