Case study on moral status

Advances in health-care technology have made it easier to detect fetal anomalies, but this can leave parents with difficult decisions to make, especially if the problem worsens after it is discovered. Various ideas have been created that can assist medical authorities in deciding how to proceed with advanced abnormality situations after they are discovered. Jessica Maria, Dr. Wilson, and Marco each have a different opinion on which decision and option should be evaluated on the different moral status theories in the case study on fetal abnormalities. To begin, Jessica believes that life has significance and, at the same time, she has a strong desire to be financially self-sufficient. Her moral standing is founded on the fact that a fetus lacks the authority to hold its ground and assert its rights openly. Life is always in the creator’s control (from a religious perspective). The fetus has the same right to live to full maturity as the mother. References J. C. BROCK, Pope Adams, J. W. F. D. M. C. Stephens & I. Ichikawa (1999). They begin and end in different ways.
