Admin Controls – PoLP & Patch Management – the principle of least privilege
Read five articles and discuss the principle of least privilege in at least 350 words. POLP promotes minimal user profile privileges on databases based on the idea that limiting user’s rights, makes the data more secure. This principle applies to users, batch files, and scripts. We will also consider pPatch management which insures that your database applications are up to date and using the most secure version. Explain how this principle impacts data security.
