Program evaluations serve to answer two critical questions: What have we been able to do; and what have the results been? As an executive director you are most likely going to be asked these questions by your board, constituents, and funders. Using evaluation and the logic model results in effective programming and offers greater learning opportunities, better documentation of outcomes, and shared knowledge about what works and why.

• Has this program been evaluated? If so, explain the evaluation process and what the results were. If a program evaluation was not completed, identify the type of evaluation you would conduct and complete, and why you would select that type of evaluation to conduct.
• Using the “Logic Model Development Guide,” draw a simple logic model for your program and explain each element. Explain how this aligns with your program’s goal and your organization’s mission.
